Highlights: We developed strategic plans and operational policies and procedures for the Office of the Chief Information Officer within the US Department of Education and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); developed strategic and financial plans for IBM Corporation to ensure customer satisfaction and administrative metrics were achieved; assisted American Express Corporation develop and grow its mergers and acquisition business unit from $5M to over $400M in less than five years; leading a team at Newport LLC to help companies transform, expand or merge with others.

We promote and encourage entrepreneurship through our ASPIRA-USA Entrepreneurship AcademyTM. Our course includes an introduction to all aspects of business operations, excursions to co-working spaces and local businesses, and a series of “lunch and learn” presentations to introduce students to local entrepreneurial luminaries. We launched our "New Dawn--New Day!" workshops to assist small businesses reinvent themselves and re-emerge successfully in the 21st Century marketplace. In addition, we develop custom workforce development training workshops on various topics to address the specific needs of our government clients.
Highlights: We provided day-and-a-half New Dawn--New Day! workshops, sponsored by the Richmond, VA Office of Minority Business Development, to multiple small businesses throughout various industries. We provided comprehensive entrepreneurship training to young adults as part of the Washington, DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) Career Connections program, to older adults at the Community College Preparatory Academy (CC-Prep), and to returning citizens as part of a program sponsored by the Washington, DC Department of Small, Local Business Development (DSLBD) .

Aspira-USA provides a vast array of communication services that utilize our years of experience in the industry. We provide media training, write business plans and crisis management strategies.
Highlights: We co-developed an acclaimed SUCCESS Symposium and Video Library Series for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); we co-organized and developed websites, public relations, advertising and other promotional material for Verizon Communications, Zanzibar on the Waterfront; Melody Tavern, the Bahamas HBCUX College Football Classic, the First Baptist Church of Glenarden Faith Festival and the Doug Williams Redskins Celebrity Weekend in Nassau, Bahamas; we received writing and communication awards from the prestigious International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Highlights: Aspira-USA became a SBA 8 (a) certified firm in 2024. Working as part of a collective with the National League of Cities, we provided research, advisory and editorial support for multiple Municipalities seeking to win competitive federal grant funding for an array of projects to enhance their communities.
